Colorado Rockies rookie sensation Trevor Story blasted a two-run homer off Atlanta Braves reliever Dario Alvarez in the sixth inning Friday at Coors Field, tying former Rockies player Troy Tulowitzki's National League record for home runs by a rookie shortstop with 24.

With a 2-1 count, Story unleashed on an 83-mph curveball, sending an absolute no-doubter into the seats in left field to make it 4-1 for the Rockies in the sixth.

Tulowitzki originally set the record in 2007.
