Mookie Betts is building an imposing reputation for punctuality.

The Boston Red Sox outfielder flexed his leadoff prowess against the Minnesota Twins once again Friday, sending Kyle Gibson's second pitch of the game well over the Green Monster to give Boston an early 1-0 lead. It was almost deja vu to Thursday, when he homered in Boston's first at-bat against Tyler Duffey, though that leadoff shot only took one pitch.

With his 20th home run of the season, Betts now owns the most home runs in a season by a Red Sox player aged 23 years old or younger since Nomar Garciaparra recorded 30 in 1997.
