Marlins' Martin Prado: Not in lineup Friday

Prado is not in the Marlins lineup Friday as they host the Mets, Adam Rubin of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

It looks to be just a regular day off for Prado, who's hitting .308 over his past 10 games. The third baseman is having a fantastic season for the Marlins hitting in the two-hole. On the season, he's hitting .314 with only 42 strikeouts in 357 at-bats. While he's not a flashy offensive player, Prado can help owners in runs and batting average hitting in front of Christian Yelich, Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna. Miguel Rojas will get the start at third base for the Marlins on Friday.
