Brewers' Jonathan Lucroy: Out of lineup Thursday

Lucroy is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest with Pittsburgh.

Analysis:

Lucroy will get his first game off since the end of the All-Star break as Martin Maldonado makes the start behind the dish and bats eighth. Lucroy is in the midst of a six-game hit streak, slashing .364/.400/.500 with seven RBI during that time. He'll likely be back out there Friday when the Brewers begin a home series against the Cubs, unless of course he is traded before then.
