Angels' Jefry Marte: Homers in rare start

Marte drew the start at first base Wednesday against Texas and went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer.

Analysis:

Ji-Man Choi's been serving most of the time at first base with C.J. Cron on the DL, as this was just Marte's second appearance since the All-Star break. Other than the occasional homer, Marte hasn't offered much for fantasy owners, making him waiver-wire material in all but the deepest of leagues.
