Diamondbacks' Patrick Corbin: Stumbles out of gate in loss to Jays

Corbin (4-9) lasted 5.2 innings, allowing six runs (five earned), nine hits and two walks while striking out four Jays in Wednesday's loss.

Analysis:

Corbin's day started with a Josh Donaldson splash-landing in the Chase Field swimming pool during the first frame. After five pitches, Corbin found himself in a 2-0 hole that foreshadowed the rest of his day. The lefty is now 0-7 at home, but at least his next start on Monday will be in Milwaukee.
