Rangers' Shin-Soo Choo: Placed on disabled list Wednesday
Choo (back) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with low back inflammation, John Blake of the Rangers' front office reports.
Analysis:
This marks the third time this season that Choo has landed on the 15-day DL, with the first two coming from a right calf strain and a left hamstring strain. Choo can't seem to stay healthy, but this injury does not appear to be very serious, and the 34-year-old could be back in 10 days. In his place, the team has brought up Delino DeShields Jr. to help out in the meantime.
