Anthony DeSclafani is high on the Texas Rangers' radar.

The Rangers are considering the Cincinnati Reds starter as one of the possible names to improve their rotation ahead of the Aug. 1 non-waiver trade deadline, reports Jon Morosi of MLB Network.

While the 26-year-old's career numbers aren't anything phenomenal (4.03 ERA in 268 innings pitched), the Reds could capitalize on his solid play this season and an incredibly dry market of available starting pitching by dealing him for touted prospects.

DeSclafani has been near-perfect for Cincinnati in 2016, going 5-0 and crafting a 2.50 ERA in eight starts with a 1.21 WHIP. He is under team control through the 2020 season.
