Angels' Mike Trout: Homers, drives in three against Rangers
Trout homered, scored twice and knocked in three runs in a win Monday against the Rangers.
Analysis:
Trout busted out of a mini-slump, as he was just 3-for-17 (but with two walks and two doubles) in his past five games. At .319/.424/.567, Trout is playing at an MVP level, but unfortunately his teammates are likely to keep him out of award consideration, much like they did in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
