Yankees' Alex Rodriguez: Homers in loss

Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's win against the Orioles.

Analysis:

With the homer, A-Rod notched just his second RBI of the month. The veteran slugger doesn't have a multi-hit game in July yet and has seen his average sag to .216. He's had an incredible career, but at this point, it looks like the 14-time All-Star and three-time MVP is a dim shadow of his former self.
