Cubs' Dexter Fowler: Targeting return next week

Manager Joe Maddon hopes Fowler (hamstring) will return to the Cubs by the end of next week, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Fowler went 0-for-2 with two walks in his single game at Low-A South Bend, but the expectation is that he'll resume his rehab assignment in the near future.
