Blue Jays' Edwin Encarnacion: Out of Sunday's lineup

Encarnacion dropped the appeal of his one-game suspension and is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers, Sportsnet's Mike Wilner reports.

Analysis:

Rather than prolonging his appeal, Encarnacion will tack an extra day onto his All-Star break. Josh Donaldson will serve as the DH, allowing Darwin Barney to enter the lineup at third base.
