Gordon supplied all the Royals' offense in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Phillies, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run off Vince Velasquez.

Analysis:

Things haven't gone smoothly for Gordon since he came off the DL in late June, and he's hitting just .229 (8-for-35) in nine games with two homers, three RBI and four runs. The Royals will need him to heat up in the second half if they're going to remain in the AL playoff chase.
