Watch: Fernandez rips go-ahead RBI double in extras

It's no secret anymore - pitchers can hit.

With the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves squared up at 5-5 in the 12th inning on Friday, Jose Fernandez was called upon to pinch-hit with two outs and runners on first and second.

After taking ball one and fouling the next pitch off his helmet, he found a pitch over the plate that he could handle, and pounded it into the gap for the two-RBI double.

The runs would prove to be the deciding ones as the Marlins would win 7-5. This was Fernandez's second double of the season.
