Blue Jays' Jose Bautista: Not expected back until after break

Bautista (toe) is not expected to be back on the field until after the All-Star break, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.

Analysis:

The news doesn't come as much of a surprise, as Bautista continues to work back from a toe injury. While he's begun rehabbing in Florida, Bautista is currently in a walking boot, so he's still a ways away from even putting weight on the toe. The Jays haven't released a target return date, but sometime in mid-to-late July seems realistic.
