Braves' Mike Foltynewicz: Pitches three innings in return from disabled list Thursday

Foltynewicz (2-2) allowed three runs, two of which were earned, on two hits and two walks while striking out two over three innings, but received no decision Thursday against the Marlins.

Analysis:

Fotynewicz gave up a three-run homer to Justin Bour to account for all of the runs scored against him in his return from the disabled list, and he was removed after throwing 61 pitches in a game that was delayed for over an hour by rain. He's now held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last six starts, and his ERA is at 3.72. He'll make his next start Tuesday at the Phillies.
