Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Set to make two starts before All-Star break

Fulmer will make two starts before the All-Star break, on Friday and next Wednesday, Chris McCosky of Detroit News reports.

Analysis:

Fulmer exited his last start in the fourth inning due to dehydration but will not miss significant time as a result. Now on eight days rest, the 23-year-old is set to take the mound Friday against the Rays' Drew Smyly and then next Wednesday against likely Indians' starter Josh Tomlin. The right-hander continues to shine during his rookie campaign, limiting opponents to one run or less in each of his last seven starts while fanning 38 batters over 44.1 frames.
