Pirates' Gregory Polanco: Sees DH action again Wednesday

Polanco went 1-for-5 and served as Pittsburgh's designated hitter for the second straight game Wednesday.

Analysis:

He hasn't really tested his left hamstring, which forced him from the lineup for several games. Polanco is still stinging the ball at the plate, but he has struck out 15 times in his last 45 plate appearances. Expect the Bucs to continue using him as a DH in Oakland over the weekend until he feels well enough to play right field.
