Yankees' Starlin Castro: Absent from Thursday's lineup

Castro is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rangers.

Analysis:

With Castro getting a rare day off, Ronald Torreyes will start at second base and bat ninth. Castro's .289 on-base percentage has yet to cost him any playing time, but he could eventually lose some at-bats to Torreyes and Rob Refsnyder if there isn't any hint of improvement.
