Williamson drops would-be insane catch over wall

Mac Williamson was so close to the highlight reel he could see it. Instead he's made the bloopers for life.

The San Francisco Giants right fielder looked to have a brilliant home run-robbing grab at the right-field fence, but just couldn't close the deal, as Jed Lowrie's drive went into a leaping Williamson's glove at the top of the wall, then right back out again and fell over the fence.

Lowrie's blast gave the Athletics a 3-0 lead over their Bay Area rivals, which was later extended to 7-0.
