Red Sox's David Price: Loses for second time this season to Rays

Price (8-5) pitched 6.1 innings, allowing four runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out ten in Wednesday's loss to the Rays.

Analysis:

Making his fourth start at Tropicana Field since leaving the Rays in 2014, Price lost for the second time this year to his former team. The left-hander won't be sad to move on to July after going 1-4 in June. Despite allowing 10 runs over his last two starts, Price's 4.08 ERA this month was actually better than it was in either April or May. He allowed another home run on Wednesday, giving him 15 on the year -- he only allowed 17 all of last season. The veteran will take a career-worst 4.74 ERA into his next start Tuesday at home against the Rangers.
