Royals' Paulo Orlando: Out of Wednesday's lineup

Orlando is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Cardinals, MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan reports.

Analysis:

It has been a long time since Orlando got a day off, and manager Ned Yost opted to give Kendrys Morales of all people the nod in right field Wednesday. Lorenzo Cain (hamstring) landed on the DL earlier in the day, and that further guarantees Orlando regular playing time going forward, as he should shift between center field and right field depending on whether Jarrod Dyson gets the nod.
