Red Sox's Brock Holt: Anticipates Friday return

Holt (concussion) is expected to return from his rehab assignment Friday when Boston takes on the Angels, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

Having been out since May 21, Holt's absence may finally come to an end as he's 8-for-22 with a .481 on-base percentage at Triple-A Pawtucket. However, while Holt's return isn't official, the Red Sox are hopeful that he will be back Friday.
