Yankees' Ronald Torreyes: Losing playing time

Torreyes has started just two games in June and hasn't had an at-bat since June 8.

Analysis:

After hitting .381 in the opening month of the season, Torreyes' bat cooled off a bit and he's seen a subsequent drop in playing time. The 23-year-old did manage to keep his major league roster spot even when Mark Teixeira was activated off the DL over the weekend, but the Yankees have given fewer days off to their regular infielders of late and seem to prefer Rob Refsnyder off the bench in those situations.
