Diamondbacks' Robbie Ray: Expects to make next start

Ray (finger) expects to make his next start Sunday against the Giants, Jack Magruder of Fanragsports.com reports.

Analysis:

The lefty developed a blood blister during Monday's start but was able to tough it out through six innings, striking out seven without issuing a walk. It sounds like Ray will be fine to toe the rubber Sunday, as expected, with an additional day of rest built in between starts (thanks to Thursday's team off day).
