The Los Angeles Dodgers just can't escape the injury bug right now, as right fielder Yasiel Puig was removed from Wednesday's game in the eighth inning after sustaining a knee contusion when he ran into the wall earlier in the contest.

Puig noticeably hobbled up the first-base line after grounding out to Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Jonathan Villar, and was replaced in the lineup by Chris Taylor.

Manager Dave Roberts told reporters after the game that he expects the 25-year-old will be available to start Thursday's matinee at Miller Park.

Puig missed over two weeks earlier this month with a left hamstring strain. Since returning to the lineup on June 21, Puig has been swinging a hot bat, hitting .333/.360/.458 with a homer and one game-winning hit.

Los Angeles lost the game to the Brewers 7-0.
