Welcome to "The Show" Brandon Nimmo!
The New York Mets rookie outfielder, who debuted for the club Sunday while going 0-for-4, didn't have the same unfortunate luck against the Washington Nationals Monday.
Nimmo ripped a 95-mph sinker out of the hand of Nationals starter Joe Ross into right-center field for his first big-league hit.
The 23-year-old, who was a first-round draft choice by the Mets in the 2011 entry draft, was called up to replace the struggling Michael Conforto on Saturday.
