Marlins' David Phelps: Scoreless frame in Sunday win

Phelps fired a perfect eighth inning, striking out one, in Sunday's win over the Cubs.

Analysis:

Phelps secured his 18th hold of the season with the scoreless frame. Aside from bumpy inning here and there, Phelps is putting together a renaissance season as Miami's primary setup option. The former swing-man has registered a 2.36 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 49 strikeouts against 12 walks in 42 innings pitched this season. He's also grabbed three spot saves and remains the clear number two option behind closer A.J. Ramos.
