Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman: Out of Sunday's lineup

Zimmerman is out of the lineup Sunday against the Brewers, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Analysis:

Zimmerman has made eight straight starts at first base, but will give way to Clint Robinson on Sunday against Jimmy Nelson and the Brewers. It's been a rough month for Zimmerman at the plate, as the veteran is 12-for-64 in June, dropping his season batting average 20 points to .230. A .261 BABIP may lead some to think that Zimmerman is suffering from some bad luck, but when lined up next to a career-low 14 percent line drive rate, it becomes apparent that he simply isn't hitting the ball as hard. That being said, there hasn't been any indication from Nationals' brass that the veteran is in line to lose at-bats any time soon.
