Indians' Carlos Carrasco: Fires complete-game shutout Saturday
Carrasco threw a complete-game, four-hit shutout in Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Tigers, surrendering only one walk and striking out seven.
Analysis:
The talented righty has certainly endured his share of ups and downs this season, but Saturday's effort was a reminder of how dominant he can still be. Carrasco fired 82 of 117 pitches across the strike zone, and also induced 15 swinging strikes. The 29-year-old now has three straight quality starts and has his ERA back down to a solid 2.73 after a couple of difficult outings earlier in June. He'll try to extend his stellar stretch Thursday versus the Blue Jays.
