Marlins' Ichiro Suzuki: Batting leadoff Saturday

Suzuki is leading off and playing center field Saturday against the Cubs, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

Suzuki is starting for in place of Marcell Ozuna, who is getting a breather Saturday. Now 42, Suzuki is not getting the same playing time he used to get, as he's only seen 138 at-bats nearly halfway through the season. However, the veteran is making the most of his opportunities this year, batting .348 with a .419 on-base percentage.
