Orioles' Hyun Soo Kim: Out of lineup Friday

Kim is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays.

Analysis:

Baltimore is facing lefty Matt Moore on Friday, so manager Buck Showalter will deploy Joey Rickard and Nolan Reimold in the corner outfield spots to avoid subjecting Kim to the lefty-lefty matchup. Still, Kim has had plenty of success against righties and he now appears to have a slight platoon advantage over Rickard. Kim figures to rejoin the lineup Saturday against righty Matt Andriese.
