Mariners' Adrian Sampson: Will undergo evaluations Friday

Sampson (elbow) will undergo further evaluations Friday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Radio reports.

Analysis:

Sampson was scratched from his scheduled start Thursday after experiencing discomfort in his right elbow during his pregame warmups, but on a positive note, he indicated he did not feel a pop in the elbow. At this point though it's still unclear if he'll be ready to go for his next turn through the rotation.
