Jones takes frustration out on bubble gum after poor at-bat

MLB.com

Adam Jones has a reputation around baseball for being one of the game's biggest bubble gum chewers, popping bright pink bubbles while making plays both at bat and in the field.

His bubble gum didn't do him any favors, however, on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres as the Baltimore Orioles outfielder took his frustrations out on his normally prized possession after a poor at-bat against Carlos Villanueva.

Jones spit out the wad and punted it into the distance after flying out to Melvin Upton Jr. The boot looked like it had good distance, though, which presumably made the former high school football player proud.
