Blue Jays' Russell Martin: Pushes average to season high with homer
Martin went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer, his sixth of the season, in Wednesday's victory over the Diamondbacks.
Analysis:
Martin's home run came on a 3-2 fastball with two outs in the first against Arizona starter Robbie Ray, and was one of just four hits Toronto mustered off the D-backs' left-hander. Martin is hitting .280 this month, and after a horrendous start to his 2016 campaign, he's now lifted his average to a season-high .218.
