Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Solid in no-decision versus Nationals

Kazmir (5-3) pitched six innings, allowing two runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out four in a no-decision Tuesday against the Nationals.

Analysis:

The lefty didn't exactly light the world on fire with his performance Tuesday, but it was his most effective outing of the month. His two runs both came from solo home runs -- courtesy of Bryce Harper and Danny Espinosa -- after not allowing a long ball in his previous five starts. He'll take a 4.52 ERA and 1.30 WHIP into his next start Sunday against the Pirates.
