Mets' Bartolo Colon: Early exit Tuesday

Colon was forced to leave Tuesday's game after being hit on the wrist by a comebacker, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

A line drive off the bat of Whit Merrifield (Colon's first batter faced) hit the 43-year-old on the wrist, forcing him from the game after four pitches. Hansel Robles came on in relief, but if Colon is forced to miss additional time, Sean Gilmartin could step in for a spot start.
