Blue Jays' Jose Bautista: To remain in walking boot

Bautista (toe) is expected to remain in a walking boot for a couple weeks, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Analysis:

The injured toe will be immobilized for a couple weeks as the Blue Jays look to get Bautista back to full health for the season's stretch run. Considering Bautista will likely need a couple weeks to ramp up his baseball activities after shedding the boot, it now seems he could be out through the All-Star break and possibly beyond. Ezequiel Carrera has been manning right field and leading off in his absence.
