Red Sox's David Price: Dominant in win over Mariners

Price was dominant in Sunday's win over the Mariners, allowing just one run with seven strikeouts compared to zero walks across eight innings.

Analysis:

Price allowed a solo homer in the fourth inning, but he otherwise scattered six singles across Sunday's outing and threw first-pitch strikes to 22 of 30 batters faced. The left-hander has been excellent of late, as he has tossed eight consecutive quality starts and has lowered his ERA approximately 2.5 runs down to 4.24 after an awkward start to the season. He will look to continue his recent dominance Friday at the Rangers.
