Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez: Notches sixth straight victory Friday

Sanchez (7-1) gave up two runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings in Friday's 13-3 victory over the Orioles.

Analysis:

The 23-year-old got a boatload of run support, but was highly effective independent of the big lead he was afforded. Sanchez turned in his fifth quality start in his last six trips to the mound, and didn't give up a homer for the fifth time over that span as well. He's now generated a solid 3.35 ERA, along with an 89:31 K:BB. It was Sanchez' sixth straight victory, a streak he'll look to extend next Friday versus the White Sox.
