If the Colorado Rockies know what they're doing with Jose Reyes, they're keeping it to themselves.

Reyes netted a 51-game suspension under baseball’s new domestic violence policy and although it has come to an end and his minor-league assignment at Triple-A is also concluding, general manager Jeff Bridich said "no comment" when asked about what happens when he returns, according to the Denver Post's Mark Kiszla.

With a decision looming, it means the club will be forced to decide whether to add him to their roster, trade him, or designate him for assignment.

Reyes is still owed about $44 million on his contract, which isn't very trade-friendly. In his absence, rookie Trevor Story has cemented himself as the everyday shortstop, batting .265/.318/.553 with 17 home runs in 61 games.

Over his 13-year career, Reyes has only eclipsed the 17-home run mark once, when he hit 19 in 2006.

In his nine games so far in the minors this season, Reyes is batting .303/.425/.485 with two homers, seven walks, and three stolen bases.
