Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Becomes league's first nine-game loser Sunday

Keuchel (3-9) was derailed by one bad inning Sunday, allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks over five innings while striking out nine in a 5-0 loss to the Rays.

Analysis:

He traded goose eggs with Matt Moore for four innings, but the wheels came off for Keuchel in the fifth. Keuchel is now the first pitcher in the majors to reach nine losses, and while his 34:4 K:BB in 31.1 innings over his last five starts is excellent, he's still stumbled to a 5.75 ERA in that stretch. Keuchel's next start is scheduled for Sunday at home against the Reds.
