Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez: Picks up win Sunday despite allowing four HR

Sanchez (6-1) needed all the run support he could get Sunday, picking up the victory over the Orioles despite allowing six runs on 10 hits (including four home runs) and three walks over five innings while striking out seven.

Analysis:

It was his shortest outing since April 22, and the four homers surrendered matched his total for the entire season coming into Sunday. Nonetheless, Sanchez came away with his fifth straight win in a 10-9 slugfest, and his 38:8 K:BB in 33.1 innings over his last five starts is a better reflection of how he's been pitching than one ugly start. He'll face off against the O's again Friday in Baltimore.
