Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Gets pulled after five against Giants

Kazmir (5-3) allowed three runs over five innings in a no-decision against the Giants on Saturday. He walked five and struck out three.

Analysis:

After allowing two runs in the bottom of the first, Kazmir locked in and faced the minimum for the next four innings. He ran into trouble in the sixth and got pulled after recording just 15 outs, making Saturday's effort his shortest since Apr. 22. The southpaw will look to go deeper when he takes the rubber in his next start Thursday against the Brewers.
