Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman: Reinstated after paternity leave

Zimmerman was reinstated by the Nationals on Monday following his three-game paternity leave, Chase Hughes of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

Zimmerman was expected to return at this time and should be back in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Chicago against the White Sox. Trea Turner was optioned back to Triple-A as a result of Zimmerman's reinstatement.
