Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Exits with cramping in left quad

Kazmir departed from Sunday's game in the top of the sixth inning due to cramping in his left quadriceps.

Analysis:

This certainly represents one of the best-case scenarios for the Dodgers, who are already thin in the starting ranks due to multiple injuries (most recently Alex Wood). The 32-year-old southpaw is next scheduled to toe the rubber Saturday in San Francisco. While it seems unlikely the issue will prevent him from doing so, it's worth monitoring the situation over the course of the week to ensure that's the case.
