Orioles' Hyun Soo Kim: Gets afternoon off Sunday

Analysis:

At this point, Kim has appeared to solidify himself as manager Buck Showalter's preferred option in left field, as he had started the preceding four games and is now sporting a .382 batting average over 68 at-bats. However, it looks like Kim could still end up assuming the larger portion of a platoon at the position, as he'll give way to Joey Rickard on Sunday with southpaw CC Sabathia starting for the opposition.
