After Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz expressed his solidarity with fellow New England sports star Tom Brady, one of his team's minor-league affiliates is following suit.

The Pawtucket Red Sox of the Triple-A International League are hosting "Free Brady Friday" on June 10 where any fans named Tom or Brady, first or last, will be allowed to attend the game for free.

Also, the usual ticket price of $13 will be reduced to $12 because of the New England Patriot quarterback's jersey number. As well, every box seat sold will donate a quarter to the Best Buddies charity (Get it? Like, "quarter-back"), which is also supported by Brady.

"Tom Brady is one of the region’s most beloved athletes and public figures,” Pawtucket senior vice-president and general manager Dan Rea told CSN New England. "This evening allows PawSox fans, so many of whom are Patriots fans, to show their support for him."

In addition, the baseball used for the ceremonial first pitch will be replaced with a football.
