Red Sox's Jackie Bradley: Expected to return Friday

Bradley (paternity) is expected to return to the lineup Friday when Boston opens its weekend series with the Blue Jays, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

Bradley was placed on the paternity list Tuesday and Mastrodonato's report suggests that the star outfielder will sit out the maximum three games while he's on the paternity list. With that, Bradley looks primed to miss the remainder of Boston's series in Baltimore. Chris Young will likely see most of the playing time in center in Bradley's absence while the recently recalled Rusney Castillo will provide depth off the bench.
