Marlins' Derek Dietrich: Enters Monday's game as injury replacement

Dietrich (head) entered Monday's game as an injury replacement and was hitless in two at-bats.

Analysis:

Dietrich took a foul ball to the back of the head during Sunday's game but was cleared of concussion symptoms later that day. He was given the day off Monday before coming in to replace Miguel Rojas (shoulder) after just one at-bat. Dietrich appears to have emerged unscathed from the nasty headshot and should return to his normal starting role in short order.
